Rest Haven Volunteer Opportunities
- Journaling (recording memories)
- Portering of residents, delivery of mail, meal assistance, support with regular programming (for e.g., bingo, fitness, arts and crafts, story time, and so forth)
- Reading to residents (English or German)
- Bible studies
- Playing table games with residents (daytime or evening)
- Playing piano/guitar for the enjoyment of residents (mornings, afternoons or weekends)
- Evening host and hostess 5 to 8 p.m. daily (duties include: bringing residents to and from programs, assisting with restless residents, etc.)
- Volunteer at events involving residents, families, and staff
- End-of-Life / Palliative Care opportunities
